What is Incremental Load?
Incremental Load is one of the two options of uploading data into a data warehouse (the other being Full Load). When an Incremental Load is executed, only the new or recently updated records are uploaded. With huge data sets, incremental loads are especially helpful because they operate much more effectively than full loads and enable more frequent updating of the data warehouse and cubes.
